April Hamm
                                 



April Hamm is a professional music educator and long-time advocate of the arts and historic preservation. Hamm's instruments include voice, piano, harpsichord, and viola da gamba. An active member of the Jim-Ree Board of Directors, Hamm assists with grant-writing, marketing, program development, musical direction, choreography and research development.

Hamm is currently enrolled in the clinical and health psychology program at the University of Florida. She plans to pursue a doctorate degree with a specialty in cognitive neuroscience. She is interested in using brain imaging technology to understand language generation and the use of music therapy in treating language and attention problems.
