Aurolyn M. Hamm White
is a board member of JAAM, a genealogist, historian, storyteller and educator of over 20 years. White has published two books: Black American Series: Elbert County, Georgia and A Moment in Time. White first developed an interest in JAAM while working on the book Black American Series: Elbert County, Georgia. JAAM's picture archives were invaluable to White. With JAAM readily accessible to the public, White believes that the public will greatly benefit from having such a resource available to them. White is excited and committed to working to achieve such a worthy cause.

White has presented her work at Emanuel College, at Elbert and Hart County Public Libraries, and at various schools in Elbert County. White is currently employed at Elbert County Comprehensive High School as a math teacher.  White is a native of Elbert County.
