George 'Mike' Fortson is a dedicated board member of JAAM and is known for his charitable contributions throughout the community. Fortson is committed to helping JAAM open its doors to the public. Fortson says that anything worth having is worth working for. Fortson knows what it takes to get a business up and running. Using rubble, pieces of discarded granite, Fortson created a business for himself in the 1960's, Fortson and Stone. "Hard work and dedication are the keys to making any business succeed", Forston says. Fortson is a native of Elbert County.
